The job for Herloop period underwear required taking a very French and impossible to translate slogan (Vivez culottée) and recreating it for an international audience. This kind of job goes way beyond translation as it requires a deep understanding of both cultures involved.
After a lot of playing around with the word “cheeky” (wink wink), we figured that was ultimately too British for an international audience. So we went for another type of double entendre with Feeling yourself. It underlines the comfort = confidence aspect of these period panties (and if you get the Nicki Minaj/Beyoncé vibe, that’s a bonus!).
